Product Manager, Atlantis™ and Cresco™ lines

The person filling this position will be responsible for overall product marketing aspects of the Atlantis and Cresco lines on behalf of Astra Tech Inc. This position, located in Waltham, Mass will report to the Vice President of Marketing.

The Product Manager will also ensure that Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) procedures and responsibilities are met and carried out in accordance with Company policy and SHE management standards. Adheres with all stated company policies, rules and procedures relation but not limited to Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) which the roles has responsibility.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide North American input on the development of these products to the Global Marketing and R&D teams.
  • Responsible for the North American launch and support of those products in concert with global and local marketing plans.
  • Product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements.
  • Defining the product vision, and working closely with Research & Development, Product Development, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Corporate Communications, Training/ Education and Events, University Relations, Customer Service and any other group that my have impact on the product, to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  • Regular interface, communications and collaboration with Headquarters/Sweden and a number of external parties to achieve overall goals and objectives.
  • The Product Manager is also responsible for ensuring that the products support the company's overall market strategy and goals.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The position requires creativity, drive, and ability to meet aggressive deadlines. It also requires the ability to plan, organize and execute at both strategic and tactical levels and handle multiple projects of varying size.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • BS/BA or equivalent, MBA preferred.
  • Product Manager experience and 8-10 years of other related experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a cross functional/matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Have Dental Industry experience (preferred).
